Who Do Kids Talk To?
When a child or young person contacts Kids Helpline via phone, email or the web, they speak directly with a counsellor.
Callers can choose to speak with either a male or female counsellor, and can speak with the same counsellor if they call more than once.
Kids Helpline counsellors are tertiary qualified and are specifically trained to work with children and young people.
They are trained to respond to each individual's needs, providing support, encouragement, counselling assistance, information and connection.
