- Lifeline
Provides 24 hour telephone counselling services for the cost of local call. The website provides information on the organisation and its services, as well as self help information kits and a service finder.
- National Missing Persons Unit
Coordinates and promotes a national integrated approach to reduce the incidence and impact of missing persons. The website contains information on missing persons as well as resources, education and training and media releases.
- National Relay Service
An online telephone relay service that allows people who are deaf or have a hearing, speech or other communication impairment to make phone calls. You can ring anyone, anywhere, anytime.
- Parentline, Queensland & NT
Available to all parents in Queensland and the Northern Territory. This site has information about the service, who calls and why, and links to and contact details of other parent organisations in Australia.
- Reach Out
Information for young people on issues such as depression, drugs and alcohol, family issues, eating disorders, grief and loss, safe sex and pregnancy school and work. This website also offers a search facility to find help.
- Voices of Youth
Information about child protection, HIV/AIDS, girls' education and immunisation, including resources for teachers.
- Your Shout
Provides support and understanding for adolescent siblings who have a brother or sister with a disability or illness. This site was created by a group of adolescent siblings themselves, and it has become a thriving online support network.
- Young Carer Project, Carers NSW
Offers services for young people, 25 years or under, who help care for a family member or friend with an illness, disability, drug or alcohol or mental health issue. Provides resources and support, real life stories and activities.
- Youth Off the Streets
A registered charity that works with chronically homeless and drug addicted young people - offering support as they work to turn their lives around. Contains information about the organisation, volunteer and donation opportunities, stories, education and training.
