Friends were mean to me

I was in year 6 and I always sat with this group in which my best friend did. At the beginning of the year the head of the group started saying that I shouldn't be eating this or that and making me feel bad. I moved away from the group and went and sat with my other friends and the head of the group went to the teacher saying that I was being mean and just ditched them for no reason.
The teacher called my old group in to straighten out the story. Everyone, including my best friend, took her side. So the teacher told me to stop it and be nice and sit with them again. I didn't. My mum was talking with the teacher and the teacher listened to my mum and the true story. When everything came to blows my best friend took the other girl's side as did all of my other friends.
Now I am stronger and all of the mean and horrible things girls say to me don't hurt me. My friends came and apologised when the girl did it to them and my best friend, after about 2 months, and we are back to being sisters.
