I have bipolar

I have bipolar and I am proud to be who I am. When I was 14, I was really not a good kid. I would sit by myself and anyone who said anything bad to me, I would try to fight them.
When I was at home I was no different. I would go off at my family. I thought I was cool because I was talking to older guys and having sex. But really all this anger that built up was making me more and more depressed which was when I started self harming myself. My mother found out and took me to seek help which is when I was told I have bipolar. I soon after that started medication.
I am now 17 and still on the medication and now get along with my family. I am almost finished school. If my mum had not stuck by me and got me help I would not be in a good place, so trust your parents and understand they do want to help.
